I have owned my current pair of trainers for the last two years (they were one of my first Instagram pics) and as much as I love them they’ve become pretty tatty and worse for wear. I’ve struggled to let go of them hence why it’s been so long since they’ve been updated. However, that all changed when I walked past my local Aldo store a few weeks ago.
I was planning to replace my DKNY trainers with another pair of designer ones but I just couldn’t decide what I wanted. On a recent trip into town I walked past the ALDO store and noticed the Naven Trainers (£55.00) in the window, I walked past them and then couldn’t stop thinking about them.
The rest I guess is history! They’re not my usual style of trainer, I’ve previously bought a pair of high-tops which are sat in the box but as soon as I tried these on they were unbelievably comfortable and the black and gold colour combination is so me. The Naven’s come in three different colours (Black, Bone & White), the Bone ones are so nice but I would struggle to style them with my wardrobe staples.
These trainers have a cushioned lining and foam sole which is why they’re so comfortable. The design is a cross between a sporty yet sophisticated design with gold metal accents and zips. Being a mummy I feel like comfort is key & to have a staple shoe which can be worn with pretty much anything is a must for me. These definitely look a lot more expensive then they are and since I’ve been wearing them I’ve had no end of compliments.
Apologies for this post being so photo heavy but I just wanted to show you the trainer in as much detail as I could.
I may have become a high-top convert thanks to ALDO!
