Collective Haul | #1

This is  a relatively small collective haul of the things I’ve been buying over the last few weeks/month. I love to shop, I mean who doesn’t? Recently I haven’t been making any massive splurges and I didn’t pick up much during the Christmas sale period so I guess that is my justification for why I have gone on a mini spree.I haven’t actually started to use any of these items/products because I’m trying to finish off a few products that I have and because I just haven’t had the time (*sad face*) the life of teaching is literally taking over my life! At some point there will be an in-depth review of each product as I start to use them for a valid period of time (3/4 weeks).

I am a huge Soap and Glory fan and have a lot of their body products but never dipped my toes into their skincare. Boots recently had an offer on the skincare range so I thought I’d take the plunge, I’m always on the hunt for new skincare products or anything that says ‘oil free’ on it to maintain my grease ball of a face. I picked up the following:

Soap & Glory™ No Cloggs Allowed™ Super Self-Heating Deep Pore Detox Mask (RRP £11.00) I paid £7.67 for this product which claims to deep clean and melt away excess sebum production which will then prevent breakouts, blemishes and blackhead build-up.

Soap & Glory™ Scrub Your Nose In It™ Special Pore Refining Formula AHA Facial Scrub (RRP £9.00) I’ve been looking for a deep cleansing scrub for a while so with this being £6 I was drawn in. It claims help exfoliate, clean and purify the skin by lifting away pore-clogging dead skin cells, soaking up excess oils, and stimulating fresh oxygen onto the face.

Soap & Glory™ Dr Spot™ Super Strength Breakout Clearing Gel 15ml (RRP £8.00) over the last couple of month I’ve been getting severe breakouts and my skin is definitely not looking its best. When I see a spot the first thing I want to do is pick it to get rid of it and knowing this is the worst possible thing to do I just keep doing it (*aaarrrgghh*) salicylic acid is one of the best ingredients to have in a product for oily skin, so when I saw this on the ingredient section I thought I have a winner. The fact that it also has Dr makes me feel that this may just work.

I recently did a post on the L’Oréal Paris Triple Active Anti-Shine Mattifying Hydrating Moisturiser (£RRP £6.49) I absolutely love this face cream, it keeps my skin really matte and that’s exactly what I want so this is just a repurchase as it was on offer for £4.33.

I always used to spend a hell of a lot of money on high end perfumes until I discovered Zara Woman Perfumes I can’t express how much I love them and for £9.99 they are a real bargain. Best of all they smell amazing especially the Apple Juice one but I’ve struggled to get hold of it so I decided to try Floral and when I tested it in store it smells divine. Unfortunately the perfumes are only available to purchase in Zara stores which is a bummer as my nearest one is Manchester which I don’t visit often so when I do I tend to buy two.

Lastly my Too Faced All I Want For Christmas purchase which I am super excited about as I’ve never used/owned any Too Faced products but heard amazing reviews. Boots had this set on sale I think I paid about £23 it was originally £35. I prefer to try miniature products before making the commitment to purchase the full size ones. This set is a great way for me to do that!

So that’s it for my collective haul, I hope you’ve enjoyed it.

Let me know in the comments section below if you’ve tried any of the above products.
