Not even going to sugar coat this post, I have certainly been doing a lot of retail therapy in the last couple of months. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know exactly what I’ve been splashing out on, amongst those bits I’ve also been purchasing a fair few beauty items which have either been on my ever growing wish list or have been the result of impulse purchases. I’ve ended up with quite a collection and thought I’d share them with you. I should add (in my defence) that all of these products were purchased on offer (3 for 2) hence why I got a little carried away, enjoy!
L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim – A couple of months ago Boots had an offer where if you spend over £9.99 on L’Oreal products you get the Super Liner So Couture free. As you’ll know I love a good felt tip liner and I was certainly impressed by the freebie, it applied really opaque and the super thin applicator meant I could create the perfect wing effortlessly by maintaining constant control, the product also dried quickly and stayed on all day. So I went to Boots with the intention of repurchasing it but I couldn’t see it anywhere so I decided to try the L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in the hope that it will be somewhat similar, I guess time will tell.
Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in Nude – This is another repurchase, I’m not quite sure why I’ve never done a review on this item, it is perfect for creating bigger brighter eyes. The texture is a dream; it is incredibly creamy which provides an effortless application. All it requires is one effortless sweep and you have a perfect opaque line, the eyeliner is also waterproof so once applied it does last pretty well throughout the day.
Soap & Glory Archery™ 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil & Brush in Hot Chocolate – I’ve always used a compact eyebrow kit but having read countless raves about the Brow Archery I really wanted to give it a go. It seems like a no faff option which is great for those mornings where I’m running around like a mad women. One end of the pencil has a spoolie and the other end is the pencil itself which makes it a great on the go product.
Soap & Glory Mist You Madly™ Fragrance Mist – I’m sure you’re all well aware how much I love the ‘Mist You Madly’ scent so when I saw this fragrance mist in Boots I was jumping for joy, I didn’t even know this produce existed! I recently ran out of my Zara Women’s perfume and thought it would be a good time to try something new. I’ve always used the Soap and Glory body spray which I absolutely love so I thought pairing the mist with the fragrance would keep me smelling lush all day, can’t wait to start using this.
Umberto Giannini Incredible Body Mousse – I have the world’s flattest hair and I hate it, I see all these girls with amazing voluminous hair and I’m always in awe. I thought it was about time I invested in a hair care product that was going to give me some lift. I saw this in the ‘reduced section’ with a £1.38 price tag; I didn’t think twice to be honest. I’ve heard positive things about Umberto Giannini products so at that price it was worth a try.
I’ve also got a High End Beauty Haul (please don’t judge me) which I wanted to include in this post but it was getting far too long and I didn’t want to send you to the world of nod so I’ve split them up, so look out for that at some point this week. I hope you’ve enjoyed having a nosey at my recent purchases; I will do a full in-depth review on each item in due course.
