The New Year has consisted of a lot of splurging especially on high end brands, it’s inevitable that when Debenhams have their 10% discount on all beauty products my eyes start glistening and all the beautiful items I’ve lusted after for so long begin to lure me in and amongst these are items which inevitably become impulse buys. To be honest since starting blogging I make sure I do my fair share of research on products before parting with my hard earned cash this certainly avoids making silly purchases that I live to regret.
Anyway enough of my rambles, without further adieu let’s begin..
Clinique Peach Pop Blusher – This powder blusher has been on my wish list since it was first released last year, the gerbera design embossed into the powder is just stunning. I’ve swatched this product a number of times in passing and each time I fell in love with it even more. The silky consistency gives an incredible colour payoff so if you like your cheeks to really pop you can build this product up, personally I prefer a subtle look just to give me cheeks that natural glow. The blush is available in four different shades; Peach Pop, Ginger Pop, Plum Pop and Berry Pop which caters for nearly ever skin tone. This is the most expensive blusher I own but I know it will be one that I wear a lot so I’ll definitely get my money’s worth.
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black – this may have been an impulse purchase, after all who really needs a mascara solely for their bottom lashes; I’ve done ok with a normal one up until now. But as always I’ve been sucked into the blogging hype and wanted to see if this product really lived up to its expectations. The tube is tiny but equally so pretty, I think Clinique always do an amazing job with their packaging and I’m a sucker for pretty packing! I’ll have to see if this product really does coat every single one of my bottom lashes and how it compares to standard mascara.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in 3W2 Cashew – I recently did a first impressions review of this product and having used it for just over two and a half weeks I was sold and had to purchase the full size product. I’ve always struggled to find the ‘perfect’ match foundation along with one that will keep me matte for the entire day but this one is simply amazing, my search the perfect foundation has well and truly ended.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer in Medium Warm – I’ve never felt the need to invest in a high end concealer (until now) as the one I previously used did the job. However over the last couple of years my under eyes have got darker and darker and my blemishes are become a lot more visible, my drugstore concealer just isn’t providing enough coverage. Whilst I was in Debenhams swatching the Double Wear Foundation the assistant also tested the concealer on me and it looked amazing I was instantly sold so I had to make a purchase for the full product.
Urban Decay Naked on The Run – Where do I start with this gorgeous palette, I have swatched it no end of times and always walked away without it. About a week ago Debenhams had a whopping 30% off this palette; it was a no brainer I had to have it. The handy case contains all the products you would need to create a perfect look for daytime/evening and would also make the perfect palette to take on a weekend away or an actual flyaway holiday imagine how much space you’d save in your luggage. I’m looking forward to using this to create a complete look after I’ve photographed it for a detailed blog post of course.
So there you have it lovelies my High End beauty haul courtesy of Debenhams and their fabulous discounts. I think I have made way too many purchases recently and now it’s time to lie low and appreciate all the goodies I’ve bought. I hope you’ve enjoyed this post; I recently did a drugstore haul if you fancy a nosey.
