This concelaer has had a huge amount of coverage in the beauty world especially from beauty bloggers and YouTube Gurus and I would most definitely have to agree that it is one of the best concealer’s I have ever used and for the price at a whooping £4.19 what’s not to like.I don’t have overly dark under eye circles but enough for them to need that little bit of concealer just to brighten the under eye area. The product comes with a sponge tip applicator which picks up just the right amount of product for one application. I tend to dot around the areas I want to conceal and blend the product in using my Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush. The consistency is quite thick so a little product goes a long way.
If you like high coverage concealers this is definitely one that you may want to try, it leaves a flawless look and lasts all day. I have increasingly oily skin so I tend to have a huge battle with makeup staying on all day. When first apply it I always make sure I use a powder to set the product to avoid it sliding or creasing.
The only two downsides to this product are the limited range of colours and the packaging. The concealer only comes in four shades Fair, Light, Medium and Deep. Over time the writing wears off the packaging through usage and eventually you end up with a clear plastic bottle. I use the ‘Medium’ shade which is a tad light for my complexion but under my foundation it’s perfect. It also allows me to use it as a highlight around the sides of my nose and above my eyebrows.
The claims made by the brand are without doubt true; it really does provide beautiful blemish-free skin. This is by far the longest wear concealer I have ever used so a massive thumbs up to Collection 2000.
