Hey my lovelies, apologies for going AWOL I haven’t posted for over a week so I thought it was time I gave you guys an update on what’s been going.
All I can say is it’s all systems go at the moment and by far one of the most stressful few months I’m going to have to get through.
The last few weeks leading up to the Easter break have been completely manic, I’ve had assignment deadlines to meet which has meant that I’ve had to put blogging on the back burner until I get myself up to date with the course. I’m due to finish on 15th May and let me tell you I can’t wait! I think I’ve got to a point where I just want to finish the PGCE and get myself a full time teaching post.
Alongside the PGCE I teach on a Tuesday as well as Wednesday mornings and a lot of my time has been taken up by marking essays, planning sessions and ensuring my students are fully prepared for their upcoming exams. For those of you who want to become teachers I would most definitely recommend you chasing this career and working hard towards it. My only advice would be don’t hope for a 9am-3pm/5pm job its hard work!
A girl has to earn a buck or two! I’m not sure if you guys already know but I work in an FE College which as you can imagine is a super busy environment. I rarely get the chance to blog during the week so I do try and spend a lot of my weekend writing up posts and taking photos but as my fellow bloggers would probably tell you it’s a time consuming process and sometimes I bring work home which needs prioritising.
I’m not on a two week break which feels fab! I am currently down south spending some quality time with my family and extended family. It’s been so lovely to be back in my home town, I’ve tried not to take my laptop out as much as possible but I thought it was unfair on my lovely readers to not post anything at all.
I promise I will get back into the swing of things when I get back on the 18th April until then I hope you’re all well and enjoying the beautiful sunshine.
Let me know in the comments section below your plans for the Easter break
