If you’re a regular reader of GlitZeeGlam you’ll know that I’ve been MIA for a couple of months and I thought it was about time I gave you all an update of my whereabouts. Most of you will know that I’ve been living in the North West of England for the last 5 years and working in a Further Education College. However, over the last six months I’ve been looking to have a career change and started to venture into the world of retail.I applied for a job at Accessorize as a Branch Manager for a new store they were opening at East Midlands Airport and much to my surprise I actually got the job! I’ve worked for Accessorize before for 5 years but left in 2010 due to relocating to the North West. If you follow me in Twitter or Instagram you’ll know that I have one relocated back to Leicester hence why I’ve disappeared off the blogging radar. Things have been so hectic with my new job and having to move house. I’ve literally had no time for anything but I’m hoping that will now change and I can get back to blogging regularly.
Working at the airport is so different to working on the High Street but I’m loving every minute of it, the atmosphere and the customers are great and make the 3:45am starts bearable. I’m still getting used to the fact I have to go to an airport when I’m not actually jetting off somewhere exotic. Also to rejoin the company feels great and I definitely feel like I’ve made the right choice to have a career change, not sure how my bank balance will cope with all the gorgeous products. I apologise in advance for any Accessorize spam on my social media platforms!
If you’re ever flying from East Midlands Airport be sure to give us a visit! I hope you’ve enjoyed admiring the new Accessorize store, I know I’m biased but it’s bloody gorgeous and I feel so proud to be part of the journey. Hopefully once I am all settled into my new home and unpacked my life I will resume to blogging regularly again. I appreciate your continued support and hope you will enjoy sharing my new journey with me.
* Apologies for the colour contrast in some of the photos, I took them on different days before the lighting was sorted.
