Oh yes I have jumped on the bandwagon of micellar madness and I know what you’re thinking ‘not another cleansing water review!’
To be honest I’ve read umpteen amounts of reviews on this new phenomenon or craze whatever you’d like to call it, but as a newbie to this cleansing water malarkey I just had to review it. I have quite a set cleansing routine and don’t often change my skincare products but introducing this into the mix seems to be working perfectly for my skin.
Actually I better add that I did try the L’Oreal 3 in 1 Micellar Water and to be honest I can’t say that I was wowed. I should have really reviewed it but with having so much on in the last few months I just didn’t get around to it.
Onto the Garnier Micellar Water, the packaging has an expensive look to it and the pink lid definitely makes it eye-catching when browsing the skincare aisle. The product is dispensed from the cap which has the perfect sized hole to slowly let the product out rather than pour out and end up on your floor.
The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is amazing, I may even be ready to ditch my make up wipes and use this to not only remove my make up but also cleanse and soothe my face. It can be used to remove eye and lip products and doesn’t sting the sensitive area at all.
It keeps my skin feeling hydrated and most importantly it soaks into the skin really quickly. I can’t cope with products that take ages to absorb into the skin so this definitely gets the thumbs up from me. I think Garniers claims for this product are spot on, and for £4.99 for a 400ml bottle is a bargain and should last you for quite some time.
I definitely prefer it to the L’Oreal 3 in 1 Micellar Water and will most definitely be making a re-purchase that’s when I get through this whopping 400ml!
