The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil | Review

GlitZeeGlam | The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil | ReviewI’ve been using the The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter for well over a month and since using it I’ve had a lot of people recommending that I try the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil so here I am with a review. If you follow me on Instagram you will know that I had a little stock up spree in The Body Shop, I couldn’t miss out on the amazing offer ‘£25 off when you spend £50’ so naturally this product fell into my basket and boy am I glad it did.

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil (£10) effortlessly removes makeup and impurities in a matter of minutes. So for anyone who finds make up removal a chore this will be your new best friend. I take two pumps of oil and massage it onto my (dry) face using circular motions for a couple of seconds making sure I have covered all areas. This beauty will remove the toughest of mascara and budge proof makeup, I can actually feel my makeup sliding away and dissolving under my fingertips.GlitZeeGlam | The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil | ReviewGlitZeeGlam | The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil | Review

I then take a muslin cloth (a face cloth will work just as well) which I rinse under warm water before placing it onto my face to remove the makeup and product and voila a clean face which feels so smooth. I have excessively oily skin and using an oil based product would usually be a massive NO NO but this product is great as it leaves no traces of oil and my skin hasn’t felt any more oiler than usual.

This product definitely feels a lot more expensive than it is; the pump is also a massive pro for me as it prevents product wastage and keeps the bottle clean. For those of you who use makeup wipes I suggest you ditch them and purchase either the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter (£12) or this Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil, in my opinion they work in pretty much the same way. However, if I was travelling I would probably take the Cleansing Butter purely because I don’t fancy an oily substance leaking in my suitcase!

Thank you to all of you lovelies who recommended this product to me I do love it and I think The Body Shop has really upped their game with their skincare range.

This looks lovely! I’m going through a bit of a skincare addiction at the moment, I should probably use up what I have before I go purchasing even more, but I can’t seem to help myself!

Oh I love the camomile cleansing butter. I’ve recently been using the L’Oreal cleansing oil to remove my makeup and it’s starting to run out now so might pick this one up to replace it. Great post hun xx
