Realities of a Single Parent | Our First Holiday to Turkey

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I booked an incredibly last-minute holiday. Usually I’m very much a forward planner but that didn’t happen this time, I really needed a break I haven’t been on holiday for two years and after everything I’ve been through I just needed to get away. I booked the holiday on Sunday 24thJune and we flew out on Wednesday 27thJune so as you can imagine I was running around like a crazy person to get things bought, packed and sorted.  (more…)

Realities of a Single Parent | Over-Compensating


This post has been a long time coming, I’ve written, re-written and deleted numerous posts on this subject purely because I was afraid to publicise the fact that I am a single parent. But why should I be embarrassed? There are thousands of parents that single handedly raise their child/children and as much as it is still a taboo in some cultures I’ve decided that it isn’t something I’m embarrassed or ashamed about, in fact it is something I should embrace on a daily basis. My Everyday Mummy Makeup | Routine

Since becoming a mummy my makeup routine has changed a hell of a lot. In fact I’ve minimised so much on products because I rarely have more than 10/15 minutes to make myself look remotely decent. I thought today I would share my holy grail mummy products. I should point out that I have incredibly oily skin so the products I use are all in line with my skin type.
